Are you afraid of your zills? Do you know your Maqsoum from your Fellahi? What's an 8th note, what's a 16th note? Why is a gallop different from a triplet? How do I know what a good pair of zills should sound like?  AHHHH!!!! No problem, we got you covered!  We will discuss all of these topics and more!  We will work on basic zill patterns. We will listen to traditional and modern Arabic music and play to the music.. Having a pair of zills is strongly encouraged, but isn't mandatory. Just wear something comfortable that you can move easily in, bring your eagerness and willingness to learn, and a smile.
